Get Your Skate On! Children, families, and the young-at-heart are invited to kick off the ice skating season with the Children’s Winter Festival on Saturday, November 9, from 11am-1pm. Rob Mayeda weekend weather anchor from NBC Bay Area will emcee this popular annual event. With support from our friends at Broadway Plaza, festivities will include a star performance by Sochi Olympian Polina Edmunds. Pizza by Rocco's Ristorante Pizzeria, hot chocolate, sno-cones, and a photo booth all promise a fun way for families to begin the ice skating season.
The partially enclosed ice rink welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities to tie on a pair of ice skates and skate daily from November 8, 2019 through January 20, 2020

Downtown Walnut Creek at Civic Park
Convenient parking is located near Civic Park, and there is a drop-off/pick-up zone located on Civic Drive in front of the ice rink. In addition to street & public garage parking, a free shuttle service is offered seven days a week for rides around downtown Walnut Creek to and from the Walnut Creek BART station.
Fees/Admission
FREE admission and skates for the first 250 guests; $5 admission until 5 p.m., and then regular price of $15 per person. Includes skate rentals.
