About Us

Hospice East Bay has been providing comfort to patients and their families throughout Contra Costa County since 1977. We offer a range of services including palliative care, hospice care, inpatient care and grief support. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to care for all medically qualified patients, regardless of your insurance status or ability to pay.

Patients with advanced illnesses have specialized needs which often fall between the scope of traditional home health care and hospice care. Hospice East Bay’s palliative care program provides much needed assistance in navigating the often complicated health care system and offers the option of receiving optimal symptom management at home rather than going into the hospital.

For patients who are ready for hospice care, our trained hospice team is here to care for their needs through the end of life — easing fear and physical suffering, while ensuring that patients and families retain dignity and control over their personal choices.
