Mindful Service Learning Camp

Date: Monday, August 3-7, 2020

Location: Online

Time Commitment: One to one and half hours

Ages:

• Incoming Kindergarten-2nd: 9-10am PT

• Incoming 3rd-5th: 1030-12pm PT

Opportunity:

Join us this summer for a virtual camp experience unlike any other! Kids will join in lively, engaging service-learning projects AROUND THE THEME Different Hearts, United As One. 

We’ll explore the wonderful ways we are all different and the ways we’re all the same. Using our Superhero Strengths of courage and compassion, we’ll learn about and connect with some of the different communities within our community. We might not all look the same, speak the same language or have the same abilities, but we are all humans deserving love, respect and understanding.

During camp, together we will: 

• Practice mindfulness and yoga to feel compassion in our bodies

• Build empathetic awareness for our differences and similarities by learning more about people in our communities

• Engage in art & service projects to support nonprofits

Supplies for the Camp:

• PRIOR to the camp, we will mail you some craft supplies for your service projects.  We will also send an email outlining any basic supplies you need at home such as paper, scissors, glue, crayons, etc.

Nonprofits we are Supporting:

• We will send out a list of nonprofits we are supporting through our camp prior to the start.

Cost is $125 per child. 

*We want our programs to be accessible to all. If you are unable to pay the registration fee, please email lizgraham@mindfullittles.org!!
