Storytime with Local Author Joanne Kraus

Sunday, May 26th at 11:00am Flashlight Books will host a storytime with local author Joanna Kraus!  Bravo, Benny is an adorable story of a little girl who wants a dog—and her grandmother, who is decidedly not a dog person.  But spending time with Benny, a lively Beagle, may help them both understand the others’ point of view a little better.  The Blue Toboggan is a thoughtful, sensitive exploration of grief and the process of moving on.  Danny’s best friend Will has passed away, but a kind teacher helps him come to terms with the loss—and to realize that friendship doesn’t die.
