The Workforce Development Board is a 37-member business led public body which is responsible for workforce development policy in the county. Its mission is to promote a system that responds to the needs of the business community, job seekers, workers and youth. It sponsors the Small Business Development Center and oversees the EASTBAY Works One Stop Career Centers, which serve both job seekers and employers.
