Get ready the most exciting pet event of the year! Joybound Around Town on Broadway is back and better than ever. We are pulling out all the stops to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our flagship event, and you (and your pets) are invited to the party. 

This free, family-friendly festival brings thousands of animal lovers together each year to celebrate the powerful bond between people and pets—all while raising vital funds for Joybound People & Pets life changing community initiatives, including rescue, adoption, low-cost veterinary care, vocational programs, service dog training, and more. 

Leading up to the big day, guests are encouraged to form fundraising teams with friends, family, or coworkers to compete for prizes (and bragging rights). Every dollar raised helps create more happy beginnings for pets and the people who love them! 

Event Highlights: 

The Paw-rade Walk | 11:00 AM Kickoff (Walk begins at 11:30 AM): A joyful one-mile walk through Broadway Plaza. Rally your team, bring your pup, and fundraise to give more animals a second chance. Prizes awarded to top fundraisers and teams! 

Best-Dressed Pet Contest | 12:30 PM: Tulle, tiaras, and tutus—oh my! Let your fashion-forward pet shine on the main stage in our fan-favorite costume contest. 

Live Music on the Main Stage 11:00 AM: Highway One kicks off the day with classic rock and good vibes 2:00 PM – The Dream Tellers bring family-friendly tunes for your afternoon groove 

Pet & People Look-A-Like Contests: Three rounds of hilarious, themed look-a-like matchups: 

•1:30 PM – Toto from The Wizard of Oz 

•2:30 PM – Garfield the Cat 

•3:30 PM – Krypto the Superdog 

Shelter to Service Demo | 3:00 PM: Watch Joybound’s superstar service dogs in action and learn how former shelter pets are trained to transform lives. 

Pet Wellness Festival + Live Entertainment | All Day 

Explore a festive open-air experience with: 

•Interactive pet booths
