Now in its 26th year, this beloved community tradition transforms Broadway Plaza into a joyful festival of paws, people, and purpose. From the tail-wagging Paw-rade Walk to live music and a bustling pet festival, it’s a day of family fun you won’t want to miss. Furry friends are welcome, but you don't need one to join the fun!

Rally your team, invite friends, and fundraise to give more animals safe, healthy, loving homes. Prizes await our top fundraisers and teams! 

Best-Dressed Pet Contest: Does your pet have star power? Enter our always-popular Best-Dressed Pet Contest on the main stage and let your pet strut their stuff for the crowd! 

Live Music & Entertainment: Tap your paws to live music while enjoying a festival atmosphere in the heart of Walnut Creek. 

Pet Festival: After the walk, explore our Pet Festival, where the streets of Broadway Plaza are transformed into a pet-lovers' paradise. Discover pet-related booths, free wellness resources, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to meet adoptable pets.

Fundraise with your Pack! Leading up to the day of festivities, animal-lovers and Joybound supporters are invited to fundraise as an individual or join a team to help raise funds for Joybound’s programs supporting the connection between people and pets through a lifetime partnership.  Every dollar raised makes a life-changing difference for pets and the people who love them.
