JOB SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate Evidence-Based Classes: Deliver Triple P and SFI parenting programs with fidelity, ensuring adherence to the respective curriculum guidelines, group protocols, and cultural responsiveness practices.
- Engage and Support Participants: Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all class participants. Encourage open discussion, foster peer support, and provide individualized guidance when appropriate.
- Monitor Participant Progress: Track attendance, engagement, and learning outcomes. Identify and respond to participant needs, including referrals for additional services when necessary.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including class rosters, progress notes, pre- and post-assessments, and satisfaction surveys.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and coordination with program staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and participant support.
- Outreach and Recruitment Support: Assist with community engagement and outreach efforts to recruit eligible participants, including attending resource fairs, fundraising events, or collaborating with referral sources.
- Ensure Compliance and Professionalism: Follow all agency policies and procedures, including HIPAA, mandated reporting, and data confidentiality. Maintain professional boundaries and model positive parenting behaviors.
- Participate in Training and Development: Attend required initial and ongoing training to remain certified and current in both the Triple P and SFI models. Engage in professional development opportunities related to parenting education and family support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education
A bachelor’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, youth, and families.
Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory.
Group facilitation experience, classroom management, and knowledge of leading group work.

- Knowledgeable in interdisciplinary approaches.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with others, both internally and externally.
- Strategic thinker who can organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with co-workers.
- Experience in a general office environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or another language speaking skills preferred but not required.
